Saturday Session: Building an Allstar Node
Richard G4WKW will give a presentation and demonstration on how to cheaply build your own AllStar node, so that you can access the SWAN Hub, HUBNet, FreeSTAR, etc. via the Internet. You can either build a node with its own low-power radio, which you can access around your home using a handheld radio, or make a "radioless" node, that you can use with a connected speaker/mic. You can also purchase a built node, customised for you.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are available. Feel free to donate snacks :)
Location: The Marconi Centre, Poldhu Cove, Poldhu Road, Mullion, Cornwall, TR12 7JB.
When: Saturday, 4th July 2026, 11:00 to 13:30.
Note: The centre should be open from before 10:30 am.
