25 April 2026
International Marconi Day (IMD)
The yearly IMD event is organised by the Cornwall Radio Amateur Club (CRAC). Please see their website for Official IMD Stations 2026 (and other information on the event).
GB2GM is an officially registered station, and we will be operating from the Marconi Centre from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, 25th April 2026.
If you would like to help operate for the event, please contact us beforehand (preferred), or just turn up on the day.
"The Telecoms Coast" Book Launch
The author of this book, Geoff Varrall, will be coming to the Marconi Centre during the day for the second day of the official launch. Members of PARC have been instrumental in providing information to Geoff and one of our members is writing a review of it.
If you are a visitor to the Marconi Centre, you will need to book for one of the Book Tours. For full details of the Book Tours and 2-day launch, please view this page.
