From an email to PARC members from our Secretary, Cliff G3UYN:
“With great sadness Les Jones G7THT became Silent Key recently. Les had been suffering heart problems for some time and succumbed to a final heart attack while in hospital. Les was an active member of the committee since 2006 until 2023 and took charge of aerials for several years until an old injury prevented him being hands-on but was always a knowledgeable person to ask about the towers. His XYL Anne was treasurer for many years but finally had to pass on the post in 2023 to look after Les.
The funeral will be at Treswithian Downs near Camborne on 30th July at 12pm, I understand that all are welcome.”

The Funeral details of Les G7THT are as follows:
Wednesday 30th July, at 12.00
at Treswithian Downs Crematorium
Camborne TR14 0BL
Then refreshments at the Polurrian Hotel from 13.45.
All welcome.
Dress code is optional.
Marconi Centre Closed to Visitors Wednesday 30th July 2025
Out of repsect to Les, the Marconi Centre will be closed to visitors on the day of his funeral.
