 Guglielmo Marconi, grandson of the great man himself, was with us for our centenary celebrations, 12th December 2001.

The Marconi Centre is opened on a voluntary basis by members of The Poldhu Amateur Radio Club

The Building is a permanent base for the Radio Club together with a fitting memorial to the great work carried out on this site, those three small dots sent from here 12th December 1901 changed the world forever..

Do visit us and enjoy the wonderful exhibition, hear radio operators talking to the world, and even have a go yourself at learning morse code...
